Terms of Service
For coaches using the Ironstead coaching portal.
§1 Scope
These Terms of Service govern all contracts between
Ironstead — Owner Jakob Seiffert
Kentroper Weg 60a, 59063 Hamm, Germany
Email: contact@iron-stead.com
(hereinafter "Platform")
and natural or legal persons using the Ironstead coaching portal as a coach (hereinafter "Coach"). The version in force at the time the contract is concluded shall apply.
§2 Contract subject matter
The Platform offers a Software-as-a-Service product for managing strength training coaching: plan creation, live tracking, statistics, communication and optional AI-assisted plan reviews. The coaching service itself is not part of this contract and remains the Coach's sole responsibility.
§3 Registration & Trial
By registering, the Coach makes a binding offer to enter into a contract. The contract is concluded upon confirmation by the Platform. The Coach receives 30 days of trial access with up to one trainee, with no automatic conversion to a paid plan.
§4 Prices & Payment
The price is 10.00 EUR per month per active trainee, including statutory VAT. The Coach therefore pays exactly 10.00 EUR per trainee per month — no additional VAT is added. Payment is processed via Paddle.com Market Limited as reseller. Billing is monthly in advance. If the number of trainees changes during a billing period, both additions and removals are pro-rated: a partial charge applies when a trainee is added for the remaining days, and a partial credit applies when a trainee is removed for the unused days of the period.
§5 Term & Cancellation
The contract runs for an indefinite period. Cancellation is possible at any time up to the end of the current billing period (end of month) — even at short notice just minutes before renewal; the decisive moment is when cancellation is registered in the Paddle customer portal. Termination for cause remains unaffected.
An alternative way to reduce costs is to remove individual trainees in the app: the number of active trainees determines the monthly fee; with zero active trainees no costs are incurred from the next billing period onwards. Mid-cycle adjustments are pro-rated per §4.
Data will be deleted 3 months after the contract ends, unless a statutory retention obligation requires otherwise.
§6 Coach obligations
The Coach warrants that they are professionally qualified to provide strength training advice. They bear full responsibility for the content and safety of training plans. The Platform does not constitute medical or physiotherapy advice.
§7 AI Critique
AI Critique is an optional tool. Its suggestions are not a binding professional assessment. Final responsibility for training decisions rests with the Coach.
§8 Liability
The Platform's liability is unlimited for intent and gross negligence. For simple negligence, liability is limited to breaches of material contractual obligations and capped at the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.
§9 Final provisions
German law applies. Should any individual provisions be invalid, the remainder of the contract remains in force.
