Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the Dimmel Deadlift and the Romanian Deadlift?
The Romanian Deadlift uses a slow tempo with a large range of motion and a pronounced hip hinge. The Dimmel Deadlift uses a shorter range of motion between knee height and the hips, performed with fast, ballistic reps to train the hamstrings with dynamic loading.
How much weight should I use for Dimmel Deadlifts?
Start with roughly 30 to 50 percent of your conventional deadlift max. The goal is to maintain speed and hamstring tension across a high number of reps, not to move maximal loads.
